Uses of Lacotab 50 MG
Lacotab Tablet is used for the treatment and prevention of seizures/fits in adults, adolescents and children aged 4 years and older.
Contraindications of Lacotab 50 MG
- If you are allergic to lacosamide or any ingredient of Lacotab Tablet.
- If you have a certain type of heartbeat problem called second or third-degree AV block.

Lacotab Tablet works by inactivating the voltage-gated sodium channels and stabilizing the electrical activity of neuron cells in the brain. Therefore, it helps in controlling fits or seizures.
Directions for Use of Lacotab 50 MG
- Take Lacotab Tablet as a whole with sufficient water.
- Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
- Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed dose.
- Do not discontinue the medicine on your own without consulting your doctor.

Interactions with other medicines
