Kesol Injection contains potassium chloride for intravenous administration which is used to replenish defeciency of potassium in your body and is helpful to treat the symptoms like irregular heartbeat, muscle weakness, vomiting, etc. caused due to drop in blood potassium levels. This injection should be taken on doctor's advise only.

How Does It Work?
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant use of this medicine and medicinal agents which have a tendency to increase potassium levels (Hyerkalemia) such as waterpills like spironolactone, blood pressure lowering medicines like captopril, eprosartan and immune system supressing medicines such as cyclosporine, should be avoided as it can lead to increase of potassium levels at a very alraming rate.
- Concomitant use of this medication with medicines that lower the sodium level (Hyponatremia) should be avoided as this medicine further lowers thr sodium levels.
- Discuss with your doctor about any other medicine, herbal preparation, and supplements you are taking currently to avoid any possible drug interactions.
