For the treatment of high blood pressure.

Contraindications of Inmide 2.5 MG

If you are allergic to indapamide or any other ingredient of the Inmide Tablet. If you have an existing kidney failure or liver failure. If you have low levels of potassium in your body.

Pregnancy

Can I take the Inmide Tablet during pregnancy?

Inmide should not be taken during pregnancy, if you become pregnant while taking this medicine or wish to become pregnant inform your doctor immediately.

Breast Feeding

Can I take the Inmide Tablet while breastfeeding?

Breastfeeding is not advisable if you are taking the Inmide as the active ingredient of this medicine can pass into the breastmilk and affect the newborn.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed the Inmide Tablet?

Inmide can make you feel dizzy or tired especially right after the therapy is initiated. Be cautious and avoid driving if you experience such symptoms.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with the Inmide Tablet?

Avoid drinking alcohol while taking the Inmide tablet.

Other General Warnings

Talk to your doctor if

You have a heart, kidney or liver-related disorder.
You have gout or diabetes.
You are supposed to do a test to check the parathyroid function.
You have fluid imbalance or imbalance of sodium or potassium levels in your body. You may be asked to check the electrolyte levels before and after the initiation of treatment.
Inmide may increase the sensitivity of your skin to sunlight. If this happens you should tell your doctor as he/she may decide to stop your treatment.
