Havrix 1440 Adult Injection
Description
Havrix vaccine protects against hepatitis A infection. The vaccine contains a weakened strain of HAV, which helps the body build immunity by producing antibodies against the virus, thereby preventing illness due to Hepatitis A.
Common side effects of the vaccine may include soreness at the injection site, headache, nausea, fatigue, and loss of appetite. These side effects typically resolve quickly, and sitting or lying down may help alleviate them. If any side effects persist or cause concern, consult your doctor.
Avoid Havrix vaccine if you are allergic to any of its components, have a severe illness, or have a high fever. It is also not recommended for individuals with a compromised immune system.
Always inform your doctor of any allergies or medical conditions before receiving the vaccine. Certain medications may interact with Havrix vaccine, so it is important to inform your doctor if you are taking other medications.
