Description
Favicovid Tablet is an antiviral medicine. Favicovid Tablet is used for the treatment of mild to moderate COVID-19 disease. This medicine contains favipiravir as an active ingredient. It works by inh
ibiting the replication of infection causing virus. The dose, frequency and duration of the treatment are decided by your doctor after assessing your condition. Before initiating treatment with the Favicovid Tablet, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, suffering from any liver or kidney problems or are allergic to it. A person infected with coronavirus should stay in isolation in a well-ventilated space and should follow COVID-19 appropriate behaviour to prevent the spread of infection. It is also advised by experts that patients should take a proper diet rich in whole grains, fresh vegetables and fruits and limit salt and sugar intake.

- You should use the most effective contraceptive methods during intercourse with a partner during the treatment and for the next 7 days after the end of the treatment.
- Favicovid Tablet can pass in semen, hence if a male is taking this medicine, then he should not have intercourse with his partner or pregnant partner. It is mandatory to use a condom to avoid pregnancy, use it for the next 7 days after stopping the medicine....
- Be cautious if you have a history of abnormalities in the metabolism of uric acid or having gout.
