Enuff Dt Tablet contains racecadotril. It is a medicine used for the treatment of sudden diarrhoea which lasts for less than 2 weeks (acute diarrhoea). It acts on the gastrointestinal tract and reduc

es the secretions. This results in controlling diarrhoea. This medicine is not meant to be used for diarrhoea associated with antibiotic use. Enuff Dt Tablet should not be used for more than 7 days. If diarrhoea persists for more than 7 days, consult your doctor.

Pregnant women should not take this medicine as it is unsafe during pregnancy. Hence, it is recommended not to use the same unless prescribed by your doctor.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Enuff Dt Tablet while breastfeeding?

Avoid use of Enuff Dt Tablet if you are breastfeeding as there is limited information is available on the safety of Enuff Dt Tablet during breastfeeding.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Enuff Dt Tablet?

Yes, you can drive as this medicine does not affect your driving ability.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Enuff Dt Tablet?

Although there is no known interaction with alcohol along with this medicine. It is important to consult your physician if you consume alcohol regularly.

Other General Warnings

Talk to your doctor if

You experience persistent diarrhoea due to the use of antibiotics.
You find bloodstains in stool and fever, immediately contact your doctor.
You are suffering from kidney or liver disease.
You are suffering from prolonged or uncontrolled vomiting.
You experience skin reactions, the doctor may discontinue the treatment.

Mode of Action of Enuff Dt 30 MG

How Does It Work?

This medicine decreases the excessive secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine in the lumen and thus helps in minimizing the number of motions and fluid loss through diarrhoea.

Directions for Use of Enuff Dt 30 MG

Take Enuff Dt Tablet as a whole with a sufficient amount of water preferably before the main meal.
You should take this medicine for the dose and duration it is prescribed by your doctor.
Do not take this medicine for more than 7 days.

Interactions of Enuff Dt 30 MG

Interactions with other medicines

The concomitant use of Enuff Dt Tablet and antihypertensive medicines like captopril, enalapril, lisinopril should be avoided as they can interfere with the activity of each other.
Discuss with your doctor any other medicine, supplement or herbal preparation you are taking before starting the treatment with Enuff Dt Tablet.

Storage and disposal of Enuff Dt 30 MG

Store at room temperature in a cool and dry place.
Keep this medicine out of the sight of children and pets.
Try to keep it in the original packing to protect it from moisture.

Dosage of Enuff Dt 30 MG

Overdose

If you think you have taken too much of Enuff Dt Tablet and you experience undesirable effects, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.

Missed a Dose

If you missed any dose of this medicine take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule.

A: There is no known interaction between Enuff Dt Tablet and IBS medicines. However, you should discuss this with the doctor before the simultaneous use of these two medicines.

Q: Is Enuff Dt Tablet safe for the liver?

A: It does not affect the function of the liver in a healthy individual but in patients with liver function, it should be used with caution. This should never be used in children with liver function problem irrespective of the degree of severity.
