Elwin Tablet contents may pass into the breast milk. Consult your doctor regarding its safety and take only if prescribed by a doctor.

Driving

Is it safe to drive after administering Elwin Tablet?

Drowsiness may occur after intake of Elwin tablet. If you feel drowsy, do not drive.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Elwin Tablet?

Elwin Tablet should not be taken with alcohol as it may intensify the effect of drowsiness.

Mode of Action of Elwin 25 MG

How Does It Work?

The activity of the subcortical area of the central nervous system is diminished by hydroxyzine pamoate, as a result of its action.

Directions for Use of Elwin 25 MG

Elwin Tablet is to be taken orally. Swallow it whole, do not crush or chew the tablet. Take it with food and with glass of water.

Interactions of Elwin 25 MG

Interactions with other medicines

Central nervous depressants may potentiate the effects of hydroxyzine
Hydroxyzine counteracts the pressor action of epinephrine
Barbiturates may cause hemodialysis when given along with hydroxyzine
If you consume other medications, do mention it to your physician before administering Elwin Tablet

Storage and disposal of Elwin 25 MG

Store at 20-25 degree celsius , in a cool and dry place. Keep away from children and pets. Do not flush away in the drain. Dispose safely as per instructions of your pharmacist.

Dosage of Elwin 25 MG

Overdose

Overdose of Elwin Tablet may cause hypersedation, stupor, convulsions
Do seek immediate medical attention if you over dose

Missed a Dose

If you miss a dose of Elwin Tablet, ask your physician for a new dose schedule. Do not take double doses.
