• According to CDSCO, Doxe P 25 mg Capsule is used in:
• Treatment of insomnia
• Treatment of unresponsive depression cases to first-line treatment
• As second-line treatment for anxiety disorder

• Do not use Doxe P 25 mg capsules or use caution:
• If you have any underlying kidney disease; avoid using this medication.
• If you have any liver disease; dose adjustment may be needed.
• If you have behavioural changes, mood changes, or suicidal thoughts; stop taking this medication.
• If you have high blood pressure; do not take Doxe P 25 mg capsules.
• If you are using or have recently taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs); avoid using this medication.

• Side effects of Doxe P 25 mg capsule include:
• Increased heart rate
• Blurred vision
• Constipation
• Difficulty in urination
• Dryness in mouth
• Orthostatic hypotension
• Weight gain

Other General Warnings

• You observe behavioural changes, mood changes, or suicidal thoughts while taking this medication.
• You experience agitation, slowed breathing, convulsions, muscle rigidity, or mouth dryness.
• Your regular blood tests (including tests for salt and sugar levels) show any abnormalities. It is important to do routine tests while on this medication.
• You wish to stop taking Doxe P 25 mg capsules. Do not stop abruptly; speak with your doctor.
• You gain or lose weight or feel that your appetite is affected.
• You are a child under 12. Doxe P 25 mg capsules are not meant for this age group.

• Doxe P 25 mg capsules should be taken according to the psychiatrist’s instructions for dosage and duration.
• The dose of Doxe P 25 mg capsules is determined based on the ailment being treated.

• Following the use of midazolam with Doxe P 25 mg capsules, serious cardiorespiratory adverse responses have occurred, occasionally leading to death or irreversible neurologic sequelae.
• Medicines like Benadryl, Dr Dry, and Cough Active Relief Syrup interact with Doxe P 25 mg capsules. The interaction can lead to drowsiness, blurred vision, dry mouth, heat intolerance, flushing, decreased sweating, difficulty urinating, abdominal cramping, constipation, irregular heartbeat, confusion, and memory issues.
