Mode of Action of Dilna 30 MG
How Does It Work?
Dilna 30mg Tab 10'S consists of a chemical component called Duloxetine. Duloxetine belongs to the antidepressants called SNRI (serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor). These are used to treat major depressive conditions as they can cause mood elevation.
There are two main chemical messengers in the brain: serotonin and norepinephrine (NE). These neurotransmitters are responsible for passing messages from the body to the brain and vice-versa. When a person is depressed, the potential of working for these messengers is altered.
Duloxetine works on the receptors of these two components. Duloxetine decreases their reuptake, i.e. their ability to be used again and again to pass on the messages to and from the brain. When the hyperactive state of these neurotransmitters is balanced, the person starts to feel better, their mood is elevated, and the patient feels healthy once again. All of this also helps relieve the pain associated with diseases like osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, etc.
Although SNRI(s) can form a habit or addiction in the human body, it is safe and effective to use if taken in the prescribed dosage....
