Desifer Dt Tablet is used to treat iron overload due to blood transfusion in patients two years of age or older. Excessive iron in the blood can cause tissue damage and lead to medical problems like

heart disease, diabetes, thyroid disorders, and liver disease. Desifer Dt Tablet contains deferasirox as the active substance that works by trapping iron and lowering its blood levels. Desifer Dt Tablet may cause kidney problems, liver problems, or stomach/intestinal bleeding. Talk to your doctor if you or your child develop any side effects. Desifer Dt Tablet should be taken before food at the same time each day to get maximum benefits. Take this medicine at the exact dose and duration recommended by our doctor. Desifer Dt Tablet is used for the treatment of excessive iron in the blood due to blood transfusion in patients 2 years of age or older.

Contraindications of Desifer Dt 100 MG

If you are allergic to deferasirox or any other ingredient of Desifer Dt Tablet.
If you have kidney problems.
If you have low platelet levels in your blood.
If you have an advanced form of cancer.
If you have a condition called high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS).

Desifer Dt Tablet traps the iron and removes it in the stools and/or urine. This reduces the excessive iron in the body and protects the tissues and organs from damage.

Directions for Use of Desifer Dt 100 MG

Take this medicine exactly as recommended by your doctor.
Disperse the tablet in water, orange, or apple juice.
Do not chew the tablet or swallow whole.
Do not consume more than the prescribed dose.
Do not discontinue the medicine on your own without consulting your doctor.
