Directions for Use
- Dapaglyn M tablet contains dapagliflozin and metformin as its active ingredients.
- Dapagliflozin blocks a specific protein in the kidneys called sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT-2), which is responsible for reabsorbing glucose (sugar) from the urine back into the blood. This leads to the removal of sugar through urine, thereby lowering blood sugar levels.
- Metformin reduces the production of glucose and also decreases its absorption in the body.
- As a result, blood sugar levels are lowered, helping to control Type 2 diabetes.
Storage and disposal
- Store in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
