Uses
- As per CDSCO, the Cloderm N Cream 15 gm is used to reduce swelling, itching, redness, and irritation caused due to bacterial infection of the skin.
Contraindications
- If you have a known hypersensitive reaction to Clobetasol, Neomycin or any other components of this cream.
- If you are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before using Cloderm N cream.
- If you are using Cloderm N cream on a child without asking your doctor.
- If you notice having blurred vision or other visual disturbances after accidentally applying this cream closer to the eyes, immediately wash your eyes. If it is getting worse, see a doctor.
- If you have a ruptured eardrum and use this inside the ear.
- If you have broken skin or any open wound on the application site.
- If you want to cover up the treated area with a cloth or a bandage without consulting your doctor.

- You have applied Cloderm N Cream directly in the eye. Repeated application may lead to glaucoma or cataract.
- You experience blurred vision or other vision disturbances.
- You experience any redness or swelling of the skin around the mouth and small, pus-filled bumps on the face after applying the Cloderm N Cream.
- You have a history of glaucoma, cataracts, ear or fungal eye infections, a hole in the eardrum, syphilis (a bacterial infection), chickenpox or sores, athlete’s foot, tuberculosis infection, broken veins or skin ulcer.
Directions for Use
- Apply the Cloderm N Cream exactly in the recommended dose and duration.
- Use it on clean and dry skin.
- After washing your hands, try to apply it as a thin layer on the areas where the condition exists.
- Do not use more than the recommended amount of this cream at once without informing the doctor, as this can lead to an overdose.
- Do not use it close to the eyes, inside the nose or mouth.
- Wash it off with water quickly if that happens.
- Check the expiration date before using Cloderm N Cream.
- Consult your doctor if you have to give it to a child younger than 12 years of age, so either different medication specific to them can be given, or the dose is adjusted.
- Close the lid of the tube immediately after use.

Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Cloderm N Cream 15 gm may interact with antidiabetic medications such as metformin, pioglitazone, acarbose, and glimepiride. The exact interactions are not clear. So consult your doctor before using.
- If you use different antibiotics such as amikacin, kanamycin, clindamycin, neomycin, or vancomycin, inform your doctor. The antibiotic in Cloderm N Cream 15 gm may interact with them. Consult your doctor.
- Avoid using topical products that can sensitise the skin and cause excess irritation, such as harsh soaps, hair removers or waxes, etc., while using Cloderm N Cream. They can cause burning sensation, redness, swelling, itching, flaking, etc.
- While using Cloderm N Cream, do not use skin products containing alcohol, spices, astringents, or lime.
- Avoid using other topical medications on the same areas you treat with Cloderm N Cream topical unless the doctor tells you to.
- If you are using some ayurvedic or herbal products to treat skin infections, inform the doctor as they may interfere with the functioning of Cloderm N Cream.
