Cloba 5 Tablet belongs to a class of medicines known as benzodiazepines. It is used to treat epilepsy (seizures) and severe anxiety. It works by suppressing the abnormal and excessive activity of the
nerve cells in the brain. It is started with a little amount and gradually increased. Withdrawal symptoms such as convulsions, behavioural abnormalities, tremors, and anxiety may occur if you stop taking this medicine suddenly.

- You have a liver problem.

- You play sports.

Mode of Action of Cloba 5 MG
How Does It Work?
Cloba 5mg Tablet works by increasing the release of GABA (a chemical messenger that acts as a nerve-calming agent) in the brain by acting on GABA (gamma-Aminobutyric acid) receptors.
Directions for Use of Cloba 5 MG
- The medication should be taken orally once or twice a day, with or without meal, as directed by your doctor.
- If you're taking this medication once a day, take it before sleep.
- Take the bigger dose at bedtime if you're taking this medication in divided doses.
- It must be completely swallowed. If you can't swallow a tablet whole, mix it with applesauce and swallow it as soon as possible.
- To wash down the medicine, you can drink water.
Interactions of Cloba 5 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Amitriptyline
- Cloba 5 MG Tablet may raise amitriptyline concentrations. Suitable dose adjustments are to be made based on the clinical condition or an alternate medicine should be considered.
- Ethinyl Estradiol
- The desired effect of contraceptive pills will not be achieved if these medicines are used together. A non-hormonal form of contraceptive is recommended during and 28 days after Cloba 5 MG Tablet. Appropriate dose adjustments or an alternate medicine should be considered under the doctor's supervision....
- Antihypertensives
- When combined with Cloba 5 MG Tablet, it may decrease blood pressure even further.
