Medical Description
Capsigyl D ointment is used on the skin for temporary relief of minor muscle aches, joint discomfort, itching and some cough-related nasal or throat irritation. It contains menthol, a cooling ingredient that acts on cold-sensitive nerve endings and can make pain or itch feel less noticeable. When applied to the neck or chest as directed, its vapour may soothe irritated air passages and reduce the urge to cough. Apply it externally to intact skin only, keep it away from the eyes and mouth, and do not use it on cuts, wounds or broken skin.
