Budenase AQ nasal spray contains medicine known as budesonide. It belongs to the class of steroids. It is used to relieve the symptoms related to allergy and inflammation within the nose. Use of this
nasal spray decreases the swelling of the nose and prevents the symptoms like a runny or blocked nose or sneezing. Do not use it if you are allergic or below the age of 18 years. Take your doctor's advice if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding. Use this spray exactly as described by your doctor. You may get irritation in the nose like sneezing, dryness of the nose, stinging sensation in the nose immediately after using the spray.

Contraindications of Budenase Aq 100 MCG

Other General Warnings
- You have an infection of the nose and sinuses.
- You have an ulcer in the nose.
- You have/had nasal surgery which has not been healed properly.
- You experience frequent and heavy nosebleeds.
- You have tuberculosis, chest infection, chickenpox or measles or you have in contact with patients with these conditions.
- You have a history of glaucoma (increased eye pressure) or cataract.
- You have an infection in the eye.
- You have diabetes or liver problems.
- You are using any steroid medicines in the form of eczema creams, asthma inhalers or tablets, injections, nasal sprays, eye drops or nose drops.
- You experience symptoms like the blurring of vision, visual disturbances or any signs of infections like fever, consult your doctor immediately.
- Your symptoms don’t improve even after using it for 14 days, consult your doctor.
- Do not use this spray for more than 3 months continuously.
- Do not use it in children and adolescents below the age of 18 years.

How Does It Work?
Directions for Use of Budenase Aq 100 MCG
- Use the Budenase AQ nasal spray exactly as directed by your doctor.
- Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
- Read the instructions on the label or leaflet before use.
- Clean your nose by gently blowing over a handkerchief or tissue.
- Insert the tip into the affected nose by tilting the head forward in the upright position.
- Use the spray by squeezing the bottle once and inhale inwards.
- Remove the tip from the nostril and repeat the same for the other nostril.
- Do not forget to replace the cap tightly after use.
- Should only be used in the nose, avoid contact with your eyes.

Interactions with other medicines
- Some medicines can affect the way the Budenase AQ nasal spray works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interactions.
- Especially, if you are taking medicines to treat fungal infections like (Ketoconazole, Itraconazole) may alter the effect of the Budenase AQ nasal spray.
- Other corticosteroids in the form of asthma inhalers or tablets, injections, nasal sprays, eczema creams, eye drops or nose drops.
Storage and disposal of Budenase Aq 100 MCG
- Keep the Budenase AQ nasal spray out of the sight and reach of children.
- Do not use this medicine after its expiry date. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
- Do not store it above 30°C. Do not freeze or store in the fridge.
- Store the bottle in an upright position. Use it within 2 months of opening the bottle.
- Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
