Mode of Action of Bicil Strip Of 10 Tablets

How Does It Work?

Cloxacillin causes inhibition of bacterial beta-lactamase, which controls infection. Amoxicillin stops the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, which leads to their death.

Bicil 250/250 tablet should be taken orally as directed by the physician
Do not chew, crush or break the tablet in half
Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water
You can take it with or without food

The use of amoxicillin and probenecid can cause an increased effect of amoxicillin in blood
Amoxicillin and oral anticoagulants can increase Prothrombin Time ( A clotting marker)
Concomitant use of allopurinol and amoxicillin can cause rashes
Amoxicillin may reduce the effect of oral contraceptives
Cloxacillin and methotrexate should be used with caution when given together
