- Amicon Plus Tablet is used for,
- Treatment of depression associated with anxiety
Contraindications
- If you recently suffered from a heart attack
- If you have glaucoma
- If you have urinary tract obstruction
- If you have liver impairment
- If you have epilepsy
- If you have difficulty in breathing
Side effects

- You have difficulty in passing urine.
- You have blurred vision.
- You have palpitations.
- You have difficulty breathing.
- You conceive during the course of Amicon Plus Tablets or are planning a pregnancy.
- You are a nursing mother.

- Amicon Plus is available as a tablet to be swallowed as a whole. Do not crush, break, or chew it.
- Every day, take Amicon plus at the same time for optimal pharmacological effects.
- Amicon Plus should be taken in the exact dosage and only for the prescribed duration.
- Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully and consult a healthcare professional if you face any difficulty following instructions.

Interactions with other medicines
- To avoid drug interaction related side effects, it is critical that you inform your consulting physician about any medications or supplements you are on.
- Amicon Plus Tablet may interact with:
- Strong painkillers like tramadol, fentanyl, and methadone- It may lead to difficulty in breathing.
- Other antidepressants such as phenelzine and selegiline- Can cause serotonin syndrome.
- Antiepileptic medicine such as carbamazepine- Can decrease the levels of Amicon Plus Tablet in the serum.
- Anti-pregnancy pills such as mifepristone- Can increase the levels of chlordiazepoxide.
- Anti-allergy medicine like azelastine- Can increase the effect of Amicon Plus Tablet.
Interactions with food items
- You can continue with your normal diet with Amicon Plus Tablet unless told otherwise.
- Avoid taking alcohol during the course of your treatment with Amicon Plus Tablet.
