Medical Description

Amicon Plus Tablet is a prescription medicine used for the treatment of depression associated with anxiety. This tablet contains amitriptyline and chlordiazepoxide as its active ingredients. Symptoms such as difficulty in sleeping, self-worthlessness, decreased appetite, irritability, suicidal thoughts that arise from depression associated with anxiety are likely to reduce within the first week of the course of this medicine. Amicon Plus Tablets are addictive in nature and pose a threat to be misused and abused. It is advised not to exceed the prescribed amount. Avoid alcohol during the course of your treatment. After starting this tablet, certain patients, especially adolescents and young adults, may have suicidal tendencies and idealation. Therefore it is recommended to stay in contact with your consulting physician for the entire duration of your treatment

Storage and disposal

Missed a Dose

Take the missed dose of Amicon Plus Tablet at the earliest. However, if it's time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose. Never increase the doses unless prescribed by a doctor.

The active ingredients of Amicon Plus Tablet are amitriptyline and chlordiazepoxide.
