Algipan cream is a pain-relieving medicine applied to the skin for pain in muscles, ligaments and joints, including sprains, stiff neck and lower back pain. It contains a combination of an analgesic, an anti-inflammatory pain-relieving ingredient and a rubefacient, an ingredient that creates warmth on the skin. The analgesic eases pain, the anti-inflammatory ingredient calms local inflammation, and the rubefacient provides a warming sensation that can distract from discomfort.
