Uses
- Depression in adults
- Neuropathic pain (pain due to nerve injury or damage) in adults
- Migraine headaches in adults
- Chronic tension-type headache
Contraindications
- If you’re allergic to amitriptyline or any of the ingredients present in the medicine
- If taking medications that are classified as Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (class of medicine used in the treatment of depression)
- If you’ve heart problems or recently had a heart attack
- If you have a severe liver disease
- Children below six years of age
Side effects
- Most of the side effects are mild and will disappear once the body adjusts to the medicine. However, immediately consult your doctor if the symptoms persist or become worse.

- Shaking hand or other body parts

Directions for Use
- Aldep Tablet must be taken as per the doctor’s prescription.
- Aldep Tablet can be taken with or without food.
- Make sure to swallow the Aldep Tablet as a whole and do not chew, crush or break it.
- Aldep Tablet must be taken at the same time as per prescription to ensure better efficacy and benefits.
- Don’t change the dose or frequency of taking Aldep Tablet without consulting your doctor.
- Do not stop taking Aldep Tablet on your own, and continue taking it as long as your doctor recommends.
