How does this medicine work?

Aceclofenac blocks the release of chemical messengers that cause local pain, redness and swelling. Linseed oil may reduce swelling through its anti-inflammatory action. Menthol and methyl salicylate first cool and then warm the skin, which can distract from pain signals. Capsaicin gradually makes pain-sensing nerve endings less sensitive, while the warming ingredients increase local blood flow and create a soothing sensation.

Interactions

Interactions with other medicines

Some medicines can affect the way Aclopride gel works. Tell your doctor about all the medicines, vitamins and supplements you take. In particular, mention another anti-inflammatory pain medicine or another product applied to the same skin area, because combined use may increase irritation or other side effects. No specific interaction has been established for this gel.
