It is believed that Zonisamide exerts its antiseizure activity by suppression of neurons.

Carbonic Anhydrase inhibitors like Acetazolamide, Topiramate and Anticholinergics because they increase the risk of high blood acid levels and kidney stone problem might aggravate.
