Voriconazole is a Triazole antifungal medication. It is generally used to treat severe, invasive fungal infections.
Uses of Voriconazole
To treat severe and systemic fungal infections caused by aspergillus, fusarium and candida fungus such as esophageal candidiasis infection, which may cause white patches in the mouth and throat. Other fungal infections of the skin, stomach, kidney, bladder and wounds. It is also used for the prevention of fungal infection in bone marrow transplant patients.

- Swelling (inflammation) of the cavities of the face
- Skin rashes
- Constipation, diarrhea or digestive problems

Can I take Voriconazole during pregnancy?
Use of this medicine during pregnancy should be avoided as it may affect the baby.

Use of this medicine in breastfeeding is not recommended as it may pass into breast milk.
Can I drive if I have consumed Voriconazole?
This medicine may cause blurred vision. Do not drive unless you feel well.
Can I consume alcohol with Voriconazole?
Drinking alcohol can increase the risk of severe liver problems.

- Low amount of magnesium, potassium and calcium in the blood
