Can I drive if I have consumed Tianeptine?

If you experience dizziness, drowsiness after taking this medicine, try to avoid driving while on this treatment.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Tianeptine?

Alcohol reduces the absorption by about 30% and would render the medicine less effective. Avoid consumption of alcohol while on this treatment.

Mode of Action of Tianeptine

How Does It Work?

This medicine decreases the levels of Serotonin in brain cells, without a decrease in Serotonin release and it was hence called a Serotonin Reuptake Enhancer.
