Molecule Description
Tianeptine belongs to the class of Selective Serotonin Reuptake Enhancer (SSRE,
a hormone in the human body), used primarily in the treatment of major depressive disorder and certain other conditions.

How Does It Work?
This medicine decreases the levels of Serotonin in brain cells, without a decrease in Serotonin release and it was hence called a Serotonin Reuptake Enhancer.
