Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
Pertussis Vaccine+Diphtheria Toxoid+Tetanus Toxoid+Haemophilus Influenzae Type B, Adsorbed+Hepatitis B Vaccine+Poliomyelitis, Inactivated is a combination vaccine designed to stimulate the immune system to produce antibodies against six serious diseases: diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), hepatitis B, poliomyelitis, and Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib). It contains inactivated components, or antigens, from each of these pathogens, which do not cause disease but are sufficient to trigger an immune response. This process helps the body learn to recognize and fight these infections if exposed in the future, providing active immunity.
Dosage
Overdose
Chances of an overdose are unlikely since this will be given to your child under medical supervision.
Missed a Dose
If your child misses a scheduled vaccine, it is essential to make another appointment. Ensure your child completes the full vaccination course. If not, your child may not be fully protected against the diseases.
