- Swallow the medicine as a whole
- Take Wintin tablets with or without food
- Drink sufficient water while consuming the tablet
Interactions of Wintin Strip Of 10 Tablets (Lanark)
Interactions with other medicines
- Para-amino salicylic acid, colchicine, biguanides, neomycin, cholestyramine, potassium chloride, methyldopa, and cimetidine may impair the absorption of the contents of Wintin tablets
- Chloramphenicol-treated patients may have a poor response to Wintin tablets.
- Oral contraceptives may lower Wintin tablet levels in the blood. These interactions aren't likely to have any clinical implications.
- Concomitant use of opioids or other CNS depressants may cause respiratory depression, sedation, or death
- Concomitant use of antacids like magnesium and aluminium can reduce total concentration of gabapentin in blood
