ner administers Verfen Injection. Fentanyl Citrate is the active component in Verfen Injection. An opioid agonist, Fentanyl Citrate (Verfen) Injection, is used to manage pain. Verfen Injection is a sterile, nonpyrogenic (non-heat inducing) solution of fentanyl citrate in water for injection, delivered solely by the intravenous or intramuscular routes. Muscle rigidity, nausea and vomiting, dizziness, tiredness, raised or lowered blood pressure, and irregular heartbeat are some of the prevalent side effects. Please visit your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen. Before taking the Verfen injection, your doctor should be aware of your medical history, including any lung or heart ailment, liver or kidney disease, high or low blood pressure, and if you are currently on any medications.

Uses of Verfen Injection 2ml

  • Short-acting analgesic activity during anaesthetic periods, premedication, induction, maintenance, and as needed in the early postoperative phase (recovery chamber).
  • In general or regional anaesthesia, usage as an opioid analgesic additive.
  • Administration of a neuroleptic as an anaesthetic premedication for induction and maintenance of general and regional anaesthesia.
  • In certain high-risk patients, such as those undergoing open heart surgery or certain severe neurological or orthopaedic operations, it is used as an anaesthetic agent with oxygen.
  • Pain after surgery.
  • Cancer patients aged 16 and above with pain.
