Venla XR tablet is a prescription medicine. It is mainly used to treat major depressive disorder. It is composed of a single active component, Venlafaxine. It is an antidepressant medication. The mod

e of action of Venla XR tablets is by improving the action of certain chemical messengers in the brain, which can lower the symptoms of depression and elevate the mood. Major depressive disorder (MDD), also known as clinical depression, is one of the most common psychological and mood disorders. It induces intense feelings of sadness, loneliness, and loss of interest. Treating these symptoms correctly and raising the quality of life is the main use of Venla XR tablets. Do not abruptly stop taking Venla XR tablets without asking your doctor, as it can lead to withdrawal symptoms such as shaking, dizziness, agitation, profuse sweating, etc. The dosage of Venla XR medicine should be looked at because it can increase the tendency of self-harm or suicidal thoughts if used for a long time. Avoid drinking or driving after taking this medicine. It should not be used in children without consulting a doctor due to the increased risk of suicidal behaviour. Sleepiness, loss of appetite, sexual disorder, sudden mood changes, etc., are some of the side effects of Venla XR tablets. It is vital to communicate with the doctor if any side effects persist for a long time.

Contraindications of Venla Xr 75 MG

Venla Xr tablets have the following contraindications:
If you have a known hypersensitive reaction to any components of Venla XR tablets
If you notice having sudden mood changes, suicidal thoughts or self-harming behaviour
If you have bipolar disorder (sudden mood changes), this medicine can increase agitation and aggression
If you are using other antidepressants medications
If you have a known history of urinary tract problems, heart condition or bleeding condition, the dose of Velflex medicine should be carefully monitored
If you have angle-closure glaucoma (an eye disorder), this medicine can worsen the condition
If you are under 18

Pregnancy

Can I take a Venla XR tablet during pregnancy?

Do not take a Venla XR tablet if you are pregnant, as It can be unsafe to use in pregnant women. Although there are limited studies, some have shown severe effects on developing foetuses in early pregnancy. This medicine can also cause many congenital disabilities in babies, including heart defects, brain and spine defects, cleft lip, cleft palate, etc. Consult your doctor if you want to take Ventor XR tablets during pregnancy.

Breast Feeding

Can I take a Venla XR tablet while breastfeeding?

Venla XR tablet can be unsafe during breastfeeding as it may pass into the baby through the mother's milk. Ask your doctor about the benefits and risks of this medicine if you want to use it while breastfeeding.

Driving

Can I drive if I have taken a Venla XR tablet?

Driving is not advisable after taking a Venla XR tablet. It can cause side effects like sleepiness, dizziness, delayed reflexes, and blurred vision that can affect your driving ability.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with a Venla XR tablet?

You cannot consume alcohol with a Venla XR tablet. Alcohol can interfere with the effectiveness of Veflex medication and cause exaggerated side effects such as vomiting, dizziness, and loss of consciousness.

Take Venla XR tablets with or without food.
Do not use the medicine if its packaging is open or damaged.
Do not suddenly stop taking Veflex medication, which can cause adverse effects.
