Medical Description

Trinicalm forte tablets belong to a class of medications called antipsychotics. Trinicalm forte tablets are used to treat symptoms of various conditions such as schizophrenia, anxiety along with depression. These conditions influence the mood and thought process of a person. Trinicalm forte tablets contain chlorpromazine, trifluoperazine and trihexyphenidyl as the chief ingredients. Chlorpromazine and trifluoperazine are typical antipsychotics, and they work on our central nervous system by decreasing the amount of a chemical called dopamine. This chemical is associated with controlling our mood and thought processes in the brain. On the other hand, Trihexyphenidyl belongs to a class of medications called anticholinergics, and they help improve the side effects of antipsychotic treatment. Trinicalm forte tablets should only be taken after recommendation by a doctor. Doses may vary from person to person based on the condition for which the medication is being used. However, before using Trinicalm forte tablets, inform your doctor about any medical conditions you are diagnosed with earlier, as well as the history of any medications you are using. Some patients may gain weight after using Trinicalm forte tablets, so a balanced diet is necessary to avoid being overweight. It should strictly not be used for children below six years of age.
