Description
Sevhold 400 mg tablets come under the group of medications called phosphate binders. Sevhold 400 mg tablet is composed of 400 mg of sevelamer. Sevhold 400 mg tablet is most commonly used for the mana
gement of control of serum phosphorus in patients with chronic kidney disease on dialysis. The medicine should not be taken in more than prescribed amounts. You should consult your doctor if you experience any side effects. The medicine should not be stopped suddenly without consulting the doctor as it can cause withdrawal effects. The doctor may decrease the dosage gradually based on the patient’s medical condition before stopping it completely. Keep the doctor informed about your medical history and if you are taking any new medicines to avoid any medication interactions.
