Rozat CV 10mg/75mg capsules 10s is a combination medicine containing rosuvastatin and clopidogrel. It is used to lower cholesterol levels and prevent heart attacks. Rosuvastatin works by inhibiting a
natural substance that causes the production of cholesterol. It acts on the liver to reduce bad cholesterol in the body. Clopidogrel inhibits molecules that cause aggregation of platelets. Rozat CV 10mg/75mg capsules are available only on a doctor's prescription. You must take these capsules at a dose and for a duration exactly recommended by a doctor. Before taking this capsule, you must inform your doctor about your health condition and currently using medications. - Do not chew, crush or break the capsule in half
- Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water

Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant use of ciclosporin raises blood levels of rosuvastatin by 7 times and causes impairment in kidney function
- Concomitant use of gemfibrozil, ezetimibe, and protease inhibitors such as atazanavir and ritonavir increases blood levels of rosuvastatin
- Concomitant use of naproxen causes an increase in gastrointestinal blood loss
- Concomitant use of omeprazole, esomeprazole, fluconazole, ticlopidine, fluvoxamine, fluoxetine, moclobemide, voriconazole, carbamazepine, efavirenz, and rifampicin increases blood levels of clopidogrel...
- Rosuvastatin reduces the blood levels of oral contraceptives or hormonal supplements when used together
- Concomitant use of medications that inhibit transporter proteins increases rosuvastatin blood levels and the risk of myopathy
