Contraindications
- If you are allergic to the active or inactive ingredients of Rispond Plus Tablets
- If you have a history of liver problems
- If you have a history of kidney problems
- If you have eye problems like cataract and glaucoma
- If you or anyone else in your family has had cardiovascular ailments
- If you suffer from sleep apnea (breathing trouble during sleep)
- If you have myasthenia gravis (disorder causing muscle weakness and fatigue)
- If you have Parkinson’s disease
- If you have suffered from seizures in the past

- You have high sugar levels. The risperidone in Rispond Plus can cause a spike in blood sugar levels.
- You are scheduled for any surgery.
- You experience any abnormal or uncontrolled movements of the face, lips, tongue, legs, arms or mouth. Rispond Plus contains risperidone that may cause tardive dyskinesia (a condition that impacts the nervous system).
- You are about to start or stop any medicine while under treatment with Rispond Plus.
- You conceive during the course of Rispond Plus Tab or are planning a pregnancy.
Directions for Use
- Your doctor will recommend the dosage of Rispond Plus Tablets based on your age, health, and severity of condition.
- For optimal pharmacological effects, take the dose prescribed by the doctor at the same time every day for the recommended duration.
- Swallow Rispond Tablet as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, break, or chew it.
- Do not alter the dose of Rispond Plus Tablet without medical advice.

Interactions with other medicines

- Rispond Plus may interact with medicines like:
- Parkinson’s medicines like levodopa-
- Risperidone and trihexyphenidyl present in Rispond Plus may reduce the absorption of levodopa.
- Antihistamines like cetirizine, diphenhydramine-
- Taking medicines like cetirizine and diphenhydramine with Rispond Plus may aggravate side effects like drowsiness, difficulty concentrating, and dizziness.
- Antianxiety medicines like alprazolam, lorazepam, zolpidem
- Combining Rispond Plus with medicines like alprazolam, lorazepam, and zolpidem will enhance side effects like confusion, drowsiness, and dizziness. Elderly patients may experience impaired motor coordination, thinking, and judgement.
Interactions with food items
- Rispond Plus Tablet has no known adverse interactions with food. A regular diet can be continued unless advised otherwise by the doctor. Rispond Plus Tablet can be taken before or after food.
