Orofer Fcm 1k Vial Of 20ml Injection
Description
Orofer Fcm Injection contains ferric carboxymaltose. It is used to treat iron deficiency anaemia (a condition in which your body has insufficient iron, necessary for producing haemoglobin) in adults.
Iron is essential for the production of red blood cells that carry oxygen throughout your body. The injectable or parenteral form is recommended when you cannot tolerate or be effectively treated with oral iron supplements. It works by restoring iron levels in the body to generate more red blood cells. It is administered as an injection or infusion (saline drip) into a vein by your doctor or nurse. It may cause a temporary increase in blood pressure along with facial redness, dizziness, and nausea, which may resolve within 30 minutes. If you experience any adverse effects, inform your doctor immediately.
