Medical Description
Ocurest AH Eye Drop is an anti-allergic eye medicine that helps relieve discomfort caused by allergies such as redness, itching, irritation, and watering of the eyes. It is particularly useful for eye allergies triggered by smoke, dust, or other environmental factors. The medicine provides temporary relief and should only be used under the advice of a doctor.
This eye drop contains a combination of active ingredients: phenylephrine and naphazoline, which reduce redness and swelling by narrowing blood vessels; chlorpheniramine, which helps control allergic reactions; and menthol and camphor, which provide a cooling and soothing effect to the eyes. Together, these ingredients help reduce symptoms and restore comfort.
When using Ocurest AH Eye Drop, it is best to avoid wearing contact lenses, as they may worsen irritation or reduce the effectiveness of the medicine. Always wash your hands before and after applying the drops and avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination.
If you do not notice any improvement in your symptoms after a week of use, consult your doctor immediately. Prolonged use without medical guidance may not be safe. Your doctor may decide to continue, adjust, or discontinue the medication depending on your eye condition.
Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have any pre-existing eye diseases, other health conditions, or known allergies to medicines. Also, let your doctor know about any ongoing medications to avoid harmful interactions. Following your doctor’s advice carefully will ensure safe and effective relief from eye allergies.
