Description

Nymost Strip of 10 Tablets is a combination of two medicines, i.e., nimesulide and paracetamol. This medicine reduces pain associated with several health problems such as gout, arthritic, low back pa

in, dental pain, or post-operative pain. Nimesulide relieves pain and inflammation by reducing the production of natural molecules that causes inflammation. On the other hand, paracetamol reduces pain by increasing the pain threshold in the brain. This medicine is only available on a doctor's prescription and should be taken at a dose and for a duration prescribed by the doctor. This medicine is not recommended in pregnant and breastfeeding women. In addition, this medicine is not recommended in children below 10 years of age. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you are allergic to any ingredients. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any unusual side effects after taking this medicine.

  • The dose and duration of the medicine must be followed strictly as directed by the doctor

Interactions with other medicines

  • Concomitant use of fenofibrate, salicylic acid, valproic acid, or tolbutamide can increase blood levels of nimesulide
  • Nimesulide can increase blood levels of methotrexate and frusemide
  • Nimesulide can reduce the effectiveness of warfarin and theophylline
  • Concomitant use of cholestyramine or charcoal reduces absorption of paracetamol
  • Concomitant use of domperidone or metoclopramide increases absorption of paracetamol
  • Concomitant use of alcohol increases liver toxicity
  • Paracetamol can decrease the effect of zidovudine
