Uses
- MFC K eye drops are used for:
- the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis
- treating the pain, swelling, and redness after cataract (cataract is a condition in the eye wherein the lens becomes opaque and causes blurring of vision) surgery
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to any of the active ingredients.
- If you are allergic to other fluoroquinolones like ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, levofloxacin.
Side effects
- Pain in the eyes
- Dryness in the eyes
- Irritation in the eyes
- Discomfort in the eyes
- Minor Blurring of vision

Other General Warnings
- You are using contact lenses. You must avoid using contact lenses if you have an active infection in the eyes.
- You have undergone eye surgery. You need to follow your doctor's advice regarding using contact lenses post eye surgery.
- You are sensitive to light. Eye infections can make eyes more sensitive to light. Use glasses outside.
- You have bleeding problems or you bruise easily.
- You have diabetes.
- You experience any burning sensation or severe pain in the eye.
- Your eye swelling is not settling or growing faster after eye surgery.
Directions for Use
- Use MFC K drops as per the advice of your doctor.
- You must not overdose, as it can cause serious side effects.
- It has to be used in the proper dose and for the proper duration.
- Wash hands before using it.
- Shake the bottle properly before using it.
- Use exactly the same number of drops as prescribed.
- Put the drops into the eyes and wipe off extra liquid.
- Do not touch the tip of the dropper with your hands, and close the bottle after using it.
- Don't rub with your hands.
- Check the label for the date of expiry before buying and using the medication.
- If the date of expiry has passed, don't use it.
- Make sure to check the packaging; it should be properly intact. Get another pack if the packaging has been damaged.

Interactions with other medicines
- Use of topical anti-inflammatory medications and steroids like dexamethasone, loteprednol, etc., should not be concomitantly used with MFC K drops, as they can delay healing.
