Our body produces certain natural substances called histamine during an allergic reaction. Mastowell Tablet works by blocking that histamine, thus relieving symptoms such as rash, itching, swelling.
Directions for Use of Mastowell 20 MG
Mastowell Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor. Swallow it whole with a glass of water. Do not cut, break or chew the medicine. It must be taken on an empty stomach. It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results and should not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor....
Interactions of Mastowell 20 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Mastowell Tablet may interact with other medicines, discuss with your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbal preparations you are taking. Also, you should inform your doctor if you have a planned surgery or vaccination scheduled....
- Medicines like ketoconazole (an antifungal medicine), erythromycin (antibiotic), Diltiazem (used in heart problems), Ritonavir (used in HIV infection) should be used with caution along with Mastowell Tablet....
Interactions with food items
Mastowell Tablet must be taken on an empty stomach (at least one hour before or two hours after having your food or fruit juice). You should avoid having grapefruit juice along with this medicine.
