Kleen Gel 20gm contains clindamycin and nicotinamide as the active molecules. This gel is used for treating acne breakout. Acne breakouts are commonly observed on face, chest, and back and are charac

terized as pimples and spots containing pus. Clindamycin is an antibiotic that kills acne-causing bacteria stopping their protein synthesis. Nicotinamide is not an anti-biotic. It is a vitamin B derivative which lowers acne-related oedema, redness, and tenderness. This gel can be used in children, adults, and elderly when prescribed by a doctor. Kleen gel should be used at a dose and for a duration recommended by a doctor. This gel can cause side effects on your skin such as burning, itching, dryness, rashes, peeling, and swelling. If these side effects persists for longer time, you must seek medical advice. Kleen gel is not recommended if you are allergic to clindamycin or nicotinamide.
