Medical Description
Hipenox capsule is an antibiotic combination used for susceptible bacterial infections, including infections affecting the respiratory tract, skin or urinary tract. It contains a combination of amoxycillin and cloxacillin, which act against susceptible bacteria, and lactobacillus, a live microorganism included to help restore useful intestinal bacteria disturbed during treatment. Amoxycillin and cloxacillin stop susceptible bacteria from building the protective outer wall needed for survival, while lactobacillus supports the normal balance of gut bacteria. Hipenox capsule is taken by mouth with water and should be used only as prescribed for the diagnosed infection.
