Medical Description
Fereg Z tablet is used to treat iron deficiency anaemia caused by low iron intake or chronic blood loss, and nutritional anaemia during pregnancy or breastfeeding when prescribed. It contains a combination of ferrous aminoacetosulphate, folic acid, thiamine and zinc. Iron provides the material for haemoglobin and red blood cell production, while folic acid and thiamine support blood-cell formation and normal cell function; zinc supports normal enzyme and tissue processes. The tablet is taken by mouth when a healthcare professional has identified a related nutrient deficiency or anaemia.
