Fensupp 100 MG Description
Fensupp suppositories contains diclofenac which is a pain-relieving medicine (analgesic) available as a rectal suppository. Rectal suppositories have to be inserted through the anal opening (an openi
ng through which stools are passed) and left there for the prescribed duration so that the medicine is dissolved and absorbed in your body. It is used to relieve pain and swelling due to arthritis and various other reasons.

Uses of Fensupp 100 MG
- Pain in bone and joints (rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, ankylosing spondylitis).
- Pain due to muscle and joint problems (periarthritis, frozen shoulder, tenosynovitis, bursitis).
- Pain due to an injury, dental problems or minor surgical procedures.
Contraindications of Fensupp 100 MG
- If you are allergic to diclofenac, any other NSAID medicine or any ingredients of Fensupp suppositories.
- If you are suffering from an ulcer, bleeding or perforation in the intestine (blood in stools).
- If you have a stomach ulcer or bleeding (black stools).
- If you are suffering from liver or kidney failure.
- If you suffer from some heart-related disorders (ischaemic heart disease, peripheral arterial disease or cerebrovascular disease).
- Swelling and pain in the rectum region (proctitis).

How Does It Work?
Fensupp suppositories contains diclofenac which reduces pain and swelling (analgesic and anti-inflammatory action) by inhibiting the chemical mediators responsible for producing redness, swelling and pain in your body. It offers relief in various types of muscular and joint pains....
Directions for Use of Fensupp 100 MG
- For rectal use only. Use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
- Wash and dry your hands after emptying your bowel.
- Insert the suppository in your rectum region through the anal opening after peeling off any wrapping over it.
- Do not move or walk for 15 minutes so that the medicine starts dissolving due to the body's temperature.
- Wash your hands again.
- Avoid passing stools or urination for at least 1 hour so that medicine stays in place.
Interactions of Fensupp 100 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Lithium and Digoxin levels may be altered when taken with Fensupp suppositories.
- Some blood pressure medicines( ramipril, enalapril, spironolactone, amiloride).
- Immunity suppressing medicines (tacrolimus, cyclosporine) can increase potassium levels in the blood.
- Blood thinners (aspirin, warfarin), medicine for some brain disorders (paroxetine, fluoxetine) and steroid medicines may increase the risk of bleeding from the stomach and intestine when taken together with Fensupp suppositories....
- Medicines for diabetes may require monitoring of blood sugar levels and dose adjustment if required.
- Medicine for cancer (methotrexate) levels can increase due to concomitant use with diclofenac.
- Antibiotics like ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin, medicine for fits (phenytoin) should be used cautiously.
- Discuss with your doctor about any other medicine, herbal preparations and supplements you are taking currently to avoid interactions.

- Store in a cool and dry place.
- Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
- Discard any unused medicine.
Dosage of Fensupp 100 MG
Overdose
If you have taken too much of this medicine, contact your doctor or reach out to the nearest hospital immediately as an overdose may lead to abdominal pain, vomiting, headache, diarrhoea, confusion or unconsciousness, fits....
