Uses
- Eskuf Syrup is used for the following purposes:-
- Allergic rhinitis
- Itchy and runny nose
- Sneezing
- Cough
- Cold
- Bronchitis
- Pain
- Diarrhoea

Contraindications
- If you are allergic to Eskuf Syrup or its active ingredient.
- If you are allergic to chlorpheniramine maleate and codeine phosphate.
- If you consume alcohol regularly.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- If you have a respiratory disease.
- If you are on a CNS depressant.
- If you have kidney disease.
- If you have liver disease.

- You develop chest tightness, wheezing, bad cough, bluish or greyish skin, swelling of the face and lips.
- You miss doses frequently.
- You overdose by mistake.

Directions for Use
- Consume the Eskuf Syrup in the same dose and duration prescribed by the doctor.
- Take Eskuf Syrup orally.
- Take Eskuf Syrup with or without food.

Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Codeine has additive depressing effects when combined with-
- Narcotic analgesics
- General anaesthetics
- Phenothiazines
- Tranquilisers
- Sedative-hypnotics
- Other CNS depressants (including alcohol)
Interactions with food items
- Grapefruit interacts with Codeine and reduces the analgesic effect.
- Eskuf Syrup is advised not to be taken with alcohol, as the syrup works on CNS and alcohol increases the effect of drowsiness.
