Description
Depranil 75mg tablet comes from a class of medications known as Tricyclic Antidepressants. The tablet is used to treat depression and cure bedwetting in children six years of age or above. It is effe
ctive in treating depression which is unresponsive to all other treatments. The prime component of Depranil 75mg tablet is the Dibenzazepine derivative. Do not chew this tablet. Gulp it as a whole with a mug of lukewarm water. Take this tablet as per your doctor’s prescription only. Do not abruptly cease using Depranil 75mg tablet since it may drive sick consequences. Tell your healthcare provider of all the medications you take as they may interact with Depranil 75mg tablet. Depranil 75mg tablet may have side effects like high heart rate, blurred sight, dry mouth, urination difficulties and constipation.

Contraindications of Depranil 75 MG
- Depranil 75mg tablet consists of a Dibenzazepine derivative. Do not take the tablet:
- If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of Depranil 75mg tablet
- If you are taking Monoamine-oxidase inhibitors (MAOI) or if you have taken MAOI in the last 14 days.
- If you have heart ailments porphyria or glaucoma

How Does It Work?
Directions for Use of Depranil 75 MG
- Take Depranil 75mg tablet before sleeping. The dose should be taken during the night as the medicine may produce tiredness and sleepiness.
- Modify the dose after the consultation with the doctor as per requirement. Gradually decrease the doses before discontinuing this medication.
- Tell your doctor if you are taking any other medicines for the same or other diseases. Abrupt stopping of Depranil 75mg tablet can result in additional side effects (withdrawal symptoms).
- Consult the doctor without delay if you notice any sudden mood change or get suicidal thoughts.
- Overdose of this medication may lead to a severe health emergency.
- Do not take Depranil 75mg tablet if you are below six years of age.
- Rise slowly from sitting or lying position as Depranil 75mg tablet causes dizziness when standing suddenly.

Interactions with other medicines
- The prime component of Depranil 75mg tablet is a Dibenzazepine derivative. Taking Depranil with any of the following medicines can alter the impact of either of them and provoke some unwanted side effects:...
- Linezolid: Avoid taking Depranil 75mg tablet with Lizolan or Lidoford as it can cause severe harm.
- Clobemide: Avoid taking Depranil 75mg tablet with Trima, Rimarex, or Morex without discussing it with your doctor.
- Moxonidine: Do not mix Depranil 75mg tablet with Moxicheck or Moxonex.
- Avoid taking Buprenorphine/Opioids with Depranil 75mg tablet as it could lead to serotonin syndrome.
Interactions with food items
- Do not take St. John’s wort (a herbal supplement for treating depression) and Depranil 75mg tablet as it can interact with the medication.
