Consticalo Tablet is a stool softener medicine. It contains prucalopride as its active ingredient. It is used to treat constipation. It is a condition characterised by difficult, infrequent and/or in

complete defecation. This medicine works by enhancing the motility of the gut and facilitates defecation. Along with this medicine, it is advised to consume foods that are rich in fibre such as fruits, vegetables and grains. For the treatment of constipation of unknown origin or known cause.

Contraindications of Consticalo 1 MG

If you are allergic to prucalopride or any of the other ingredients of Consticalo Tablet.
If you are on dialysis, have perforation or obstruction of the gut wall or have intestinal diseases.

Pregnancy

Can I take Consticalo Tablet during pregnancy?

Breast Feeding

Can I take Consticalo Tablet while breastfeeding?

Breastfeeding is not recommended while on treatment with this medicine.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Consticalo Tablet?

Consticalo Tablet doesn’t affect your driving abilities. However, you may feel tired and dizzy during the first few days of treatment. Avoid driving if affected.

There is no known interaction between alcohol and Consticalo Tablet.
