Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
- Cilacar O Tablet contains a combination of cilnidipine and olmesartan as active substances.
- Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker that blocks the incoming calcium and prevents the contraction of blood vessels. This helps to reduce blood pressure.
- Olmesartan blocks all the actions of a chemical called angiotensin II which helps to relax the blood vessels and thereby lowers blood pressure.
