Uses
- Treatment of Depression (symptoms of hopelessness, mood swings and sleep disturbances).
- Treatment of Generalised Anxiety Disorder (excessive thoughts that are difficult to control).
Contraindications
- If you have any known allergy to any ingredients present in the medicine.
- If the patient is a child below 12 years.
- If you are taking medications classified as Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors.
- If you are under Pimozide medication.

- You want to stop the treatment. Do not suddenly stop taking medicine without prior consultation with your doctor, as you may develop withdrawal symptoms like abrupt mood changes, nausea, weakness, headache and disturbed sleep.
- You experience any side effects.
Directions for Use
- Camdem Tablets must be taken as per the doctor’s prescription.
- Camdem Tablets can be taken with or without food.
- Make sure to swallow the Camdem Tablets as a whole and do not chew, crush or break them.
- Camdem Tablets must be taken at the same time as per prescription to ensure better efficacy and benefits.

Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Aceclofenac and Aspirin increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding.
- Acetaminophen/Paracetamol causes symptoms of an overdose of paracetamol.
- Amphetamine causes serotonin syndrome (excessiveness of serotonin hormone in the body resulting in symptoms of an overdose).
- Sleep inducing medicines like triazolam can increase the risk of side effects.
- Medicines to decrease the risk of bleeding, such as apixaban, may produce opposite results.
Interactions with food items
- St. John’s Wort (herbal medicine to treat depression) to produce adverse effects and toxicity of the medicine.
- Tryptophan containing dietary supplements (milk, cheese, oats) increases the risk of side effects.
