Brilinta 90 MG Description

Brilinta 90 tablet contains ticagrelor as its active medicine. It belongs to the medicines of the group known as antiplatelet medicines. It is used to prevent heart attack, stroke or any heart or blo

od vessels related problems. Do not take this medicine if you are having an allergy, any active bleeding (haemorrhage) or any liver problems. Do not take it with other medicines like ketoconazole, Clarithromycin, Nefazodone, Ritonavir or Atazanavir. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding before using it. Do not use this medicine in children and adolescents below 18 years of age.

  • Taking Heparin along with this medicine (as Heparin sometimes produces a rare disorder that adversely affects platelet and clotting).
  • Brilinta 90 mg tablet is not recommended in children and adolescents below 18 years of age.
