Description
Bilasure M tablet is an anti-allergic medicine. It is used to treat allergic rhinitis such as runny and stuffy nose, blockage in airways, sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and other allergic symptoms.
This medicine contains bilastine and montelukast as its active ingredients. It acts by blocking the release of the chemical substance responsible for allergic symptoms. Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
- Bilasure M tablet contains a combination of bilastine and montelukast as active ingredients.
- Montelukast blocks certain natural substances called leukotrienes which cause allergies. It reduces swelling, relaxes airways, and helps to make breathing easier.
- Bilastine blocks the action of a natural substance called histamine. Histamine is produced by the body during the event of an allergic reaction.
- The combined action of these two components present in Bilasure M tablet helps in relieving the symptoms of allergic rhinitis or hay fever.
Directions for Use
- Bilasure M tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor.
- Swallow it whole as a whole with a glass of water.
- Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
- It should preferably be taken at night.
- It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results.
- Do not consume more than the dose prescribed by your doctor.
