Bicox 600 Tablet Description

Bicox Tablet is a prescription medicine that is mainly used for the treatment and prevention of tuberculosis or TB infection. Tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious bacterial infection that mainly attacks

the lungs. If left untreated, it can also affect other body parts such as lymph nodes, kidneys, brain, spine, and skeletal muscle. Bicox Tablet is composed of two active ingredients: Rifampicin and Isoniazid. Together this combination medicine kills the bacteria called ‘Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which is a responsible organism for TB (tuberculosis) infection, and hence controls the infection. Bicox Tablet dosage should be taken as recommended by your treating physician. The treatment duration depends on various aspects, such as the condition of the patient. It is also recommended to complete the entire course of the treatment, to completely eradicate TB Infection from the body. Do not suddenly stop taking the medication as it can affect the potency of the medicine or may lead to resistance Tuberculosis, which is very challenging to treat.

  • If you have any vision complaints like optic neuritis.
  • If you have a history of alcohol consumption.

  • If you have peripheral neuropathy (pain caused by damage to the nerves)
  • If you have liver disease.
  • If you have kidney disease.
  • If you are using antiviral medicines like HIV medicines.
