Medical Description
The airZ-FF inhalation capsule is used for regular control of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, including chronic bronchitis and emphysema, conditions that make breathing difficult. It contains a combination of glycopyrronium, formoterol fumarate and fluticasone propionate. Glycopyrronium and formoterol fumarate relax the muscles around the airways, while fluticasone propionate is an inhaled steroid that reduces airway swelling and inflammation. The capsule is loaded into the prescribed inhaler and breathed in, not swallowed, and it is not a rescue treatment for sudden breathing attacks.
