Timolol Maleate is a beta-adrenergic blocking agent that works by reducing the production of the aqueous humour of eyes, which helps in the reduction of pressure in eyes. It also reduces the rate and force of contractions of heart hence useful for treating high blood pressure and certain heart conditions.
